Don't Hate the Miz/ He is you
The Miz Alex Riley

One thing I have noticed in the IWC (Internet Wrestling Community) is the big backlash against The Miz. Let me begin by saying that I am not a mark for The Miz but I have heard all type of things like he doesn't deserve to champ or he is a joke why is he getting the push. The Miz is what everyone in the IWC and casual wrestling fans have been asking for, something different. He is not the jacked up guy from the WWE cookie cutter factory. He is just a normal guy like you and me who loves pro wrestling. He came up with The Miz persona while on the Real World in 2001. So far he has been a great ambassador for the WWE and pro wrestling. I will address some of the criticisms of the Miz in this blog.

He has not paid his dues - The Miz has been around for the better part of the last 6 or 7 years yet people seem to act like he just showed up yesterday. He was able to turn his reality TV fame into spot on the 2004 Tough Enough. Tough Enough also brought us John Morrison and Melina. Miz made it all way to finals where he lost to Daniel Pruder (where are they now). After that he spent time in developmental in Deep South Wrestling and Ohio Valley Wrestling.
From there he went to the Smackdown Brand as the host and hosted the Diva Search competition. He has definitely of late been the WWE's got to guy. He has been a 2 time mentor on NXT. He has worked is way up the ladder more than most of the recent stars. He is a multiple time tag team champion. He is also a 2 time United States champion. Can Sheamus or Wade Barrett boast that kind resume.

The Miz Girl When he won the Title

He is not believable - He is very believable in his role and make a strong run with the belt all the way to Wrestlemania if allowed. Listen the the live crowd he is an instant heat magnet. Refer to the picture above of the girl's reaction to him becoming world champion. He has greatly improved on his in ring work and maybe one of the top 3 talkers in business right now. If you don't believe in him now keep watching with an open mind and you will.
